The Chateau de Luzigneul is an elegant construction dating from the 17th and 19th centuries sitting within a beautiful six-acre garden. Located in Normandy at the border of the Eure and Calvados départements it is only 80 miles (130 km) from Paris and strategically positioned within easy access (10 minutes) of the main motorway (A28) connecting the ferries at Calais or Le Havre to Le Mans and the South West of France.
The Château de Luzigneul was acquired several years ago by the Coulthard family who have restored and decorated it with taste and discretion whilst maintaining its original character, allying traditional with contemporary and East with West.
Comfortable and graceful "chambres d'hôtes" suites and bedrooms offer calm and the opportunity to enjoy the delightful gardens featuring a dovecot and "pavillons de courtoisie" which are listed by the French ministry of culture. Other amenities include an exercise room and a sauna.
The chateau offers facilities for the organization of receptions for up to 200 seated guests, ideal for weddings and other celebrations.
The gardens are open to the public for visits during certain days of the summer months.
